Marks & Spencer has demonstrated its commitment to achieving carbon neutrality by signing the biggest renewable energy deal in the British retailing sector. The company has entered into a six year deal with nPower to provide 2.6 terawatt hours (TWh).
All power will come from green sources such as wind and hydro electric farms. It is Marks & Spencer’s intention to use small-scale independent generators where possible.
